Cancer & Infusion Center
High quality cancer care is closer than you think with the opening of the new Cancer & Infusion Center at Mercy Hospital Grayling. Here at Mercy Hospital Grayling, we provide local, high quality cancer care and a healing environment for our patients. As part of our continuous efforts to provide the best care possible, right here in our community, the center will concentrate on compassionate and coordinated cancer care in a team approach.
The Cancer and Infusion Center team includes an on-site hematologist/medical oncologist, nurse practitioner, financial navigator, nurse navigator, social worker, infusion nurses and clinical pharmacist. Infusion services offered are chemotherapy and non-cancer injections and infusions for diseases such as Crohn's disease, osteoporosis, anemia, rheumatoid arthritis and many others. All services are in an outpatient setting and provided by professionally trained staff. The new center is part of the Mercy Cancer Network and also a developing northern Michigan oncology network coordinated by Munson Medical Center, allowing easy coordination with other sites for services not offered in locally.
The staff includes Joshua Ruch, MD and Kathy Beltz, ANP-BC. Dr. Ruch specializes in Hematology and Medical Oncology. He grew up in Michigan. He completed his undergraduate degree at Hope College and received his medical degree from at the University of Iowa.
